A Bold Investment in the Future
of Northern Healthcare
This project is more than a renovation, it is a reimagining of what healthcare can and should be for the North.
The Victoria Hospital Redevelopment and Expansion is the largest healthcare infrastructure project in Saskatchewan’s history. This transformational initiative will modernize and expand Prince Albert’s only hospital, ensuring it can meet the needs of more than 150,000 people across central and northern Saskatchewan for generations to come.
Construction began in 2023, following years of community advocacy and a $898 million commitment from the Government of Saskatchewan to fund the capital costs of construction. Once complete, the hospital will include a brand-new acute care tower and extensive renovations to the existing facility.
Together with the Equip the Vic Campaign, this project is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reshape the future of healthcare in our province.
